Official Opening Ceremony of the XXXIX International Hanseatic Days of the New Age. Choir Festival

The Opening Ceremony is one of the most important parts of the protocol and cultural units of the Hanseatic Festival. Traditionally, the host party sets two tasks: to show national traditions and to convey them in a spectacular way.

The central idea of the ceremony is the subject of music and its spiritual bond. World-class Russian choirs will present works of the Russian and world classics, Russian folkloric compositions accompanied by dance and theatrical performances. The Choir Festival is opened by the combined choir on the main stage (there will be approximately 1000 people). Then choirs work according to the schedule of performance venues and on the territory of the presentation and handicraft markets.
